At Hundon and Thurlow Primary Federation we teach music using the Kapow music scheme. The scheme allows the teachers units of work which combines the strands of performing, listening, composing, music history and the inter-related dimensions of music (pitch, duration, tempo, timbre, structure, texture and dynamics). The Kapow scheme ensures full National Curriculum coverage and is used across the Federation from EYFS to Year 6.

Across the Federation we facilitate piano and string instrument lessons for individual pupils which are taught by local music teachers.
